5G Antennas For Cradlepoint R1900 5G Router
The R1900 router is commonly used for Vehicle 5G Internet connectivity so many installations will require a vehicle 5G antenna such as the Panorama Shark Fin antenna. However, many users of the Cradlepoint R1900 router will use it for office connectivity or other M2M Applications. In these instances a building or hole/wall mounted 5G antenna like the Panorama DWMM4-6-60-5SP Outdoor 4×4 MiMo Antenna or Fullband FB4X4MIMO 5G Dome Antenna.
The R1900 router is configured with 4 x SMA antenna connections for cellular antennas so ideally the use of a 4×4 MiMo antenna is required. If the router is installed in a location with good 4G and 5G network coverage then you could use 4 x 5G blade antennas, and in instances where the router is in a poor signal location or for a particular type of installation such as inside a vehicle then a more suitable, external; 5G antenna can be installed. You can see some of the antenna suggestions below.
